replacing windscreen

just wondering if i will need more than one tube of sealer/glue to do the job? anyone done one lately ?

Have you changed one before and fitted the trim correctly so it will withstand all the rain and the weather?

yeah i have done it now one tube just did it
i used to fit car glass for a living but about 20 years ago so was not a problem

Would my windscreen scratches, multiple visible chips and cracks be considered by my insurer to replica it fully?

Do they replace with oem spec and quality ?

far as am aware they would just send auto windscreens or other windscreen firm around to fit a new one but think they would just plug up the stonechips
