Recently bought another Accord to use on Private Hire Taxi , the previous owner had the timing chain replaced in the past ( got receipt and can tell with instant gasket seal around top of Timing chain cover ) its got a leak on the back corner , is it a big job to be fixed , wouldnt the injectors come out easily if they've been out in the past

I had the same thing. Injectors can be tricky to get out but if taken out before it may be easier. One of mine broke.... New injector seals will be needed and the seat cleaned very well to get a good seal. Also it'. Recommended that new fuel pipes are fitted once removed. The rocker cover gasket can pinch when replacing so be very careful otherwise it needs takin apart again!!!!!!

Im going to order a new gasket , is there anything else like washers / seals etc that I need to replace when putting it all back together.

Gaz if you buy from Honda you should get the complete kit to do this job.
Give HH a call and they should be able to advise you on this :)

Tried to do the rocker cover gasket today , all injectors come out easily except the one closest to the timing chain , couldn't remove it and didn't want to break it so in the end called it a day , is there a special tool to get this out , don't mind having to replace an injector but don't want to have to remove the head and get it machined out if it breaks on there

Soak it overnight in brake fluid. If it still won't budge then find a local mobile injector removal specialist to come round and pull it out upwards (hard to replicate without their equipment).

Would not of been as bad if it was one of the others , just couldn't get in with something to prise it back and too on one side because of the top of the rocker cover , prised it on the other side and it did rock back and too slightly and I give it a good spray with wd40 but called it a day in the end , its my private hire taxi and didnt want me to be off the road for a few days

Honda have a tool they use to remove stuck injectors. i think its like a vice that clamps onto the top and they hit it to shock it out. still no guarantee that it wont break though. one of mine was damaged on removal but Honda replaced it with one from a CRV that was waiting for a new engine on warranty. they break they replace..... not brand new but still kept me on the road and the CRV was 3 years newer than my car so newer than the one i had.
