Hi Guys,

Finally got round to taking a few pics with the RX8 Alloys on. Got them for an absolute bargain with tyres. Looks pretty good to me, although I think the car is now riding too high........a good excuse to drop her I thinks! lol

Would like to know what you's all think.

To anyone wondering about fitting RX8 alloys, they do fit but you will need 67.1 to 64.1 spigot rings. Apart from that they'll go straight on.
 
very nice mate, nice shiny Accord too! like the number plate design too :)

About them in Black....wouldn't that look too much, especially as these alloys don't have a chrome lip just to break things up a bit?

looking good buddy, a drop and lip kit and you should be there...
 
Looks good brings back memories when I had them on my car ages ago. I liked the 50mm offset filled the arches that little bit better, defo needs a drop now some coilovers would be the way to go.
 
forget black, they look perfect as they are. A wee dropsy south will only add to the overall look B)

I definitely am gonna drop her but dont wanna go mad with a full a spec kit. I was thinking of just changing the springs....can anyone recommend which make of springs I should go for? As for the Type R Kit, where can I get hold of a decent replica?
 
Hi, I think these wheels look stunning. They really suit the car. I have just purchased one very similar and I am new to the forum. I have been nosing around for ideas on wheels. I think I have found my chosen path.
Great looking motor you got there !
 
Can I ask what size tyres you are running ? 225/40 front and 225/45 rears ? Or are they the same all round ? I have got some but they need new tyres and a refurb and have been wondering what's the best tyre set up.
 
Hi Chris, I'm running 225/45 on both front and rear but may change them to 40's when I drop her.

Is there any negative affect to changing to 40?

im with oz on this one, black wheels are nice new but youll end up doing a fortune in tyre gloss!!
a wee drop and youve got it sorted
