Sat Nav on new car

I just wondered why after purchasing such a lovely top of the range car the
Satellite Navigation Disc that was supplied was way out of date.

The reason I know this is because I did a long run to the north of England
yesterday and noticed that some of the roads I was on including a major road
was not displayed correctly and even places marked on the map that I know
have long since gone?

Can anybody thrw any light on this?

What year is your disc?

Whatever it is, the data will be a year or so older still.

Just one of those things.

It will also draw blue lines across fields, but if you are on the wrong motorway who's fault is that?? Rely on electronics too much you could run onto rocks and sink!!

I'd go back to the dealer and see if there is a new(er) disc that should come with the car.
