Sat Nav - Waiting for Signal

Took the battery off last night to give it a good charge. Put it back on this afternoon and all I get on the sat nav screen is a message saying it's looking for the gps signal and could take up to 10 mins. I've waited and nothing happens, tried it a few times and same message. Has anyone else had this message and got past it? I will take the negative of for 30 mins or so in the morning to see if it clears it. Got to say, the Sat Nav system has been terrible for me. Thought I had it sorted after I fitted a mech out of a face-lift dvd rom in the chassis of mine!

Well after much playing last night, no joy. Tried this morning, no joy. Just gone out to disconnect the battery for a bit and decided to give it another go, I swore, did various hitting of the three button combo and just as I was going to switch off it cleared itself. Utter madness.

I have days like that with my mobiles. I wonder sometimes how good they would be as clay pigeon skeets :lol:
