Selecting gear problem urgent please

Hi everyone I have a urgent problem I'd love some help on. My clutch has always been quite stiff to press down and just recently started creaking when pressing it down but tonight I was driving normally went to press the clutch down to change gear and a stranger creaking noise was heard louder than usual and something strange was felt through the pedal but now even pressing the clutch down fully as far as it can go selecting any gear from neutral or going from gears is so hard and takes a scary amount of force to get it in one. Has anyone got any ideas at all what it could be?

I'm sorry mate on my phone it messes up sometimes.

just to add to the original post it still drives once I get a gear.

Anyone at all? I know creaking pedal is a master cylinder problem but would it failing completely cause gear selection issues(mine was creaking when pressing and releasing the clutch pedal)? and the pedal seems to have no feel until rite at bottom of travel.

Sounds like your master cylinder has gone. So long as you can get a spanner in the footwell to undo the bolts not a terrible DIY job.
