self-adjusting hedlights

Hello

I've just updated my old prelude 4 gen to accord 7, 2.2 Ctdi , Executive and I have one question about the headlights.
It's the facelift model with HID. I don't have the button ( scroll ) inside the car to adjust the car's headlights.
I was wondering if they should go up-down when the car starts or just adjusting when the weight is different ( full trunk ) .

Mine are not going up-down , but if there is a load at the back I can see them going down.

Your car has the factory xenon lights, so it would adjusts by the levelling sensor under the boot. It also drops slightly lower if the boot is fully loaded.

You saw it moves when there has extra weight at the back, that means the sensor is working perfectly, and nothing to worry

As Andy said. It does a check every 8 seconds for a difference between the levelling sensors when the car is stopped and every three minutes when the car is moving.

The don't reset level when the car starts like say BMWs and others which do.
