Hi all, my Accord (manual 2.0 Type s 2006 model) has only 32000 KM on it but it's slightly more than 5 years old now.
I'm about to take it for it's service in the next month or so.

I'm thinking to replace the following:
oil
oil filter
air filter (replaced once so far)
brake fluid (never replaced)
petrol filter (never replaced)
transmission fluid (expensive, never replaced)!

1). Are these ok or am I replacing something I shouldn't or am I also missing anything?

2) I live in Cyprus and the owner's manual that came with the car at the maintenance section says for NON-EU countries, NOT Australia and NOT New Zealand so I'm a bit confused. Also the local Honda service station here doesn't seem to read the schedules too much (as the car is 5 years old and they never replaced the brake fluid!!!).
Anybody has the European maintenance schedule and can scan it and post it here (it's only a couple of pages).
Thanks

I'd say that's probably ok, personally I'd change the spark plugs as well, not sure what the service interval is for them but your cars only done 20k miles but they will have been in for 5 years I suspect. Might as well stick a pollen filter in it too, you could do that yourself its a 5min job.

ah the spark plugs have an interval of 40000km (no time limit) but I have changed them once already.
I also change diy the pollen filter once a year cause it's so cheap.
thanks
any other input?

Battery condition?

battery is still fine.
In fact I even left the lights on and it drained but after boosting using another car it's still ok.
It created some acid bubbles around the poles but I cleaned them up using baking soda and used some drops of 15w40 oil on them to prevent it from happening.

btw, I bought some 5w-30 oil for the first time from ebay.de, the brand is Meguin and will use that in the car for the winter.
honda has been putting in castrol 15w-40 so far..

so does Anybody has the European maintenance schedule and can scan it and post it here (it's only a couple of pages)?
Thanks
