Does anyone know how to adjust the level of the zenon lights in an 8th Gen accord? Up for the MOT and got it checked on a headlight alignment machine. Both headlights are sitting just beneath the level and cant see where to adjust them up.

Thanks

There should an adjustment switch in the car somewhere. On the 7th gen its on the right of the dash board next to the VSA switch. ***ume its in a similar place. You should be able to move the headlamps up and down.

Are you sure you don't have auto leveling headlamps, is it a factory fitted option?

As Shabz said if you have factory fitted hids they are self levelling

Auto leveling for xenons is a legal requirement, as are headlamp washers

They are but how do you test them at the MOT bay?

They have to give benefit of the doubt for auto levelling at MOT. Washers have to work and obviously if it fails the beam pattern which includes pointing at the right height.

Yes they are factory fitted and self levelling. When i test it on the machine in the garage the light level is slightly beneath the required level. I was just wondering if this can be adjusted manually on the head lamp?

There should be a manual adjuster on the back of the headlight.

On the 6th gen, it is on the back of where the levelling motor is, there is a tube with toothed cog inside and you have to "flick" the cog with a flat bladed screw driver.
