Hi guys,

I have just given my 6th gen a bit of a service. I have done the following:

New exhaust (front and mid sections)
New K&N Panel Filter
New fuel filter
Oil change and filter ( thanks stu)
ATF oil change (thanks again stu)
Upgraded wheels to 16" from 15"

Should I reset the ECU? Also, if I should, which fuse is it for a quick reset?

Thanks

Disconnect the 2 fuses in the fuse boxes, one in bay and one by accelerator

They are called Backup or ECU or something like that.

Be sure to remove both otherwise your throw a Engine Check Light.

Yes you can remove the battery but that cuts power to everything, settings on your radio etc etc.

After let the car idle up to temp dont just drive it.

Having said that for all the things your doing ECU reset isnt a Necessity.

Just to conferm this guys if the 6 gen is the same as the 7th gen the ecu is self learning

Not too sure about helping with an immobeliser problem, but no, it can't do any harm.
