After a good days DIYing following Mr CL7's excellent headlight removal guide I've managed to remove the condensation and have it ready to place back into the beast.

Then I recalled a spiffing bit of advice from my internet browsing: try to add a bit of window wash to the inside of the glass to help keep the condensation from reappearing any time soon.

Unfortunately, what wasn't apparent was the silica gel pack in the headlight had torn, and as soon as I added a little bit of wash they were everywhere, stuck to the inside on the light.

So, any suggestions on how to clear it, or am I just going to have to make the walk of shame to halfords and buy some sealant before I pry this unit open?

Only thing I can think of is a hairdryer to try and remove the moisture from them and then see if you can shake them out.

Thanks Dave, did try that with no success, they just stayed in place. :(

Good news is that its all sorted! Just went ahead and split the headlight unit open and cleared it all out. Now re-sealed and back in the car.

Off to fetch me some well deserved dinner me thinks.
