Well I decided that the current knob with the comptech shortshift required a bit of help. The standard aluminium knob is good but i thought it needed a bit more solidness....it just felt too light. the Skunk2 weighs a hefty 440g! it doesn't makes a huge difference but it's difference that can be felt in solidness of engagement......the major difference is when attempting to shift quickly the shifter engages much more reassuringly.

I got the shifter from Sportscompactonly in usa.

Have one for a year or so, just like yours.
Great product, looks really nice and useful too.

In hot weather it gets too hot, though!

Alan, how much was the skunk2 knob ?

also what you doing with your old one ? i have a silly leather / plastic topped one in my exec and hate it.

when i bought it it was about £28...but these days prices are up

the goin rate is about £45-50 now for a skunk2 knob

Lol, apologise I was under the impression it was quite recent.

I'm ***uming its fine then lol

I have one on mine too, very nice knob, good size, fits the hand perfectly, and has a nice weighty feel to it and more importantly makes me feel like a racing driver when shifting gear :D
