Slught whislte noise coming from engine

Ive just recently started to hear a slight whistle (metal on metal) noise coming from my 1.8 engine while driving on slight acceleration anybody had the same problem or any ideas????

Have you been using rubbish fuel at all?

Same fuel since i bought it only just noticed it since i put an induction kit on, the noise never happens when your sat and put the same revs on and if you put your foot down whilst driving it stops but its defo coming from the engine not the wheels

check that your ac compressor is not stuck on, the clutch should be disenaged

Hi, I'm new to this forum, did you ever get to the bottom of the whistle?

I have a 2.0 F20b6 and it whistles under full acceleration, passengers usually ask if its a turbo.

Yes fella it was the air filter i had fitted sucking in the air
