So how are my heated seats supposed to work?

As the ***le says, kind of. When I switch them on they come.....then go off, then come on, then go off. Are they thermostatically controlled or something? Or is there a fault? Can I change the settings via the dealer?

My last car (a Volvo) had seats that stayed on and also you could get the setting configured via the dealer at service time (ie max temp turned up or down).

What about the Accords?

Think there is a thermostat on the low setting, but not the high...

High should be used to get them up to temp only, then switch to low to maintain temperature.

High is thermostatically controlled and will switch off, low setting is not and wont turn off. As said use high setting to get up to temp and them switch to low to have a constant warmth.

My experience of them is you only really notice them in the real winter months when they are a nice feature.
