Hi all,

I've been through the forums and it seems that the question has been asked for the TOURER. But I can't see anything for a regular saloon.

I have 17" Epsilons on my car. Would a spare 17" epsilon fit into my boot where the spare 15" is right now? (2003, pre facelift).

Thank you!

You could have tried a little harder bud ;).

Second item on results list using "spare wheel tourer" as the search string

This was the first http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/846-full-size-spare-wheel-for-tourer/

I did read those! But those posts are for a Tourer... my car is saloon.

Or am I reading the posts wrong?! *confused!*

Sorry - I misread your post too  Been a long day :(

I would think though that the wheel stowing area would be the same?

*phew* thought I was going crazy! lol

I dunno - I'm hoping someone can save me having to take a wheel off and checking!

Sure they will mate...

been trying to get hold a 16's my self but most breakers round here wants £100 for 1.

I have this one doing nothing 205x55x16 unused tyre, not a match for your other wheels, but does fit into the boot area of the tourer, and will get you home should you need it £ 40 you send courior.

Do you have a full size 15" in there or is it a spacesaver?

I've got a full size spare 16" in mine (2005 pre-facelift SALOON ;) ). Yours should fit as the diameter of wheel + tyre would be the same - my tyres are 55 profile, yours are probably 50 right?. Only problem is that the full size wheel is deeper than a space saver so it doesn't sit in the hole so nicely and pushes the boot floor up by about an inch. Its ok until you load the boot up and it bends the floor at the sides. I've already binned the tool tray.

Anyone else have this problem in the saloon?
