the manual states to change the spak plugs at the 72K service.

currently at 59K, so should i change them earlier?

Can't do any harm can it...

The Honda Worldwide service schedule in the Tourer owner's handbook says do them at 62.5k.

Do you recommend putting anti seize on the plug thread or is it not neccesary?

Although having said that, check this out...

So if you do use anti sieze, only give the plug half to two thirds of a turn - don't wait for your torque wrench to click

i've just read through the manual, it doesnt state you have to apply anti seize only torque figure.

read lots of mixed opinions aswell regarding antiseize, some say the stuff will make it easier to overtight?

Always check bud... they could get squished in the post.

Don't adjust Iridium tipped though.

Gap should be 1 - 1.1mm.

Torque them to 18Nm

cheers Dan
just checked them they're all at 1 mm, tried using 1.1 mm feeler gauge but it wont get throught the gap. take it this should be okay?

spark plugs fitted Cliff, without breaking anything pheww! lol

the old plugs are Denso SKJ20DR M11, i thought the NGK IZFR6K11 were fitted from factory?

Cliff - is this normal for the intake? should there be a clip in there?

I thought there was a jubilee around there? But possibly not:

thanks Dan for clearing this up, thats what i thought there should have been a jubille clip.
but looking at the parts diagram, i dont think it has.

Cliff
i'm talking about the tube that goes from the airbox to the resonator, it looks as if there should be a clip securing it.

Not that I remember but I'll have a look tomorrow in the light & confirm. ;)

yep it doesnt really need a clip as this pipe just sits ontop of the resonator.
