Hi,

As mentioned above looking to replace spark plugs with next service. I know I could purchase them from either HH or Cox Motorsport but what type are they for the 8th gen. Are they iridium or platinum?? Are there better/performance ones out there or is it best to stick with oem?

Any advice or help please.

Heard people saying its best to get platinum tips or silver rather than iridium. Might stick with oem and get iridium from HH.
 
As said keep with OEM ones.
I'm sure you can get Denso and NGK in these
 
Spark plugs have been changed. Decided to stay with oem. Purchased from HH along with 2litres of MTF and necessary washers. Did a service on the car over weekend. Changed oil, filter and sump washer along with transmission fluid, pollen filter and spark plugs. I have a k and n panel filter so cleaned that up with k and n recharge kit. Was going to do a how to on the transmission fluid change but forgot.
 
Rich, have you found cold starting any better with new plugs?

Mine can sometimes be a bit reluctant to start from cold, can take 2 or 3 goes.

Probably change my plugs this summer, they have done 75k miles.
 
Yes I have seen a difference. My car had started to struggle on start up over winter months. After changing plugs haven't noticed it at all. Sounds like its worth doing.
 
What size socket do you need to change them?
