Last night I installed a pair of Alpine SPS-69C3 speakers to replace the stock 6 x 9s in my 2005 Accord Sport (saloon).
Issue I have is that I cannot be sure that I have the polarity right with the wiring. I think I have it wrong on one side (i.e. I have wired negative feed to positive terminal on speaker and vice versa) because the bass gets cancelled out when the sound is centred (i.e. both speakers are running) but then increases when I put the sound to one side.
I have looked all over the net and on here for an answer to the following questions:
Which of the pink and blue wires running to the rear left (passenger) side shelf speaker is the positive()+) feed?
Which of the red and brown wires running to the rear right (driver) side shelf speaker is the positive(+) feed?
I tried swapping the wires around on each speaker and looking for evidence of the speaker sucking in, rather than pushing out, with low frequencies; but the stock HU is so weak that this was inconclusive.
Any help would be much appreciated.
