got it, borrowed this from anothersite:
1st..turn off the ignition and remove the yellow connector with 2 wires under the drivers side, connect a paperclip between the two wires
2nd..Turn ignition on, SRS light will come on for about 6 seconds then shut off
3rd..disconnect the paperclip within 4 seconds of the light shutting off. SRS light will come back on.
4th..reconnect the paperclip within 4 seconds of the light coming on, SRS light will go off.
5th..disconnect your paperclip within 4 seconds, SRS light will indicate memory has been reset by blinking 2 times.
6th..Turn vehicle off and wait 10 seconds, reconnect the yellow plug. Start vehicle, SRS light should come on and then go off as normal.
The connector is a yellow 2-pin block plugged in to the back of the fuse board. To access it, open the coin holder drawer below and to the right of the steering column, remove the single 8mm nut and then gently pull the dash lower cover away - it is held by push fittings after the removal of the nut. Once this is off, access is easy, the connector is in the middle of the board.
