Does anyone have an idea on potential costs to fix steering wheel play, i.e. can turn the wheel left and right quickly and not really affect the steering on the vehicle.

It's not overly excessive at the moment, but definitely noticeable. Interested on what it could potentially be and the cost of getting it fixed.

CHECK FLUID LEVEL ?
I'l take a look, but I'm not sure it would be that easy. I'll speak to Honda and see if they can diagnose. Just don't want to pay for a complete rack replacement... in fact I wouldn't. It's not that bad at the moment, just hoping something can be tightened (or topped up!)

Have you checked for play in track rod ends?
Wouldn't even know where to start (except maybe Google and YouTube...) Is that a major change if the problem is with them? I doubt I'd ever look to do that myself, but good to know for taking it to a garage.

I've heard of rack problem, but generally the steering rack is considered ok in the Accords.

Like TypeR says, I'd get a suspension check (tie-rods) done along with an ***essment of the play.
