steering wheel switches

Hi all, should the controls on my steering wheel illuminate when i put the lights on, also some of the switches on the drivers door do not light. fuse?

On my old 7th gen the steering wheel buttons did light up but on others they didn't! There didn't seem to be any logic. Mine was a 2005 prefacelift.

The door switches will partly turn off if you have turned off the electric windows off for the other windows.

There was a pre-facelift facelift in about 2005, cars built after this date will have switches that light up

They are illuminated in all facelift models (green), however some of the 2005 pre-facelift also have illuminated switches (amber). For me it looks like Honda decided to fit illumination just before facelifting.
BTW I've changed my steering wheel for 2006 to get more illumiantion inside the car!!!
