Stereo problem

Hi there. Yesterday I decided to take out an old nokia hands free kit from my 3rd 7th gen Accord, unfortunately this took more effort than I'd imagined and after eventually getting it out the stereo wont work. All the buttons for fans , duel ac etc work but no display on stereo and no tunes, also discovered while driving home in the dark tonight that the interior map lights don't work. I've checked fuse #5 which seems fine but cant figure it out. Should have left the ugly hands free kit alone!! Any help would be greatly appreciated .
