Stretched Cam Chain...P0341 Fault Code

Evening dudes, cpuld someone possibly point me toward some advice regarding a potentially stretched cam chain?
I am a novice and do not want to be royally fiddled by a blagger mechanic regarding what seems to be a very serious issue...
Fault code PO341

Also there is a very high picthed squeaky noise in the cold it seems (stays constant pretty much) as well as a loss of power (limp mode?)

Ok guys on further ****ysis (online forums etc) it seems that this is definately the issue, so the next question is do i trust a local quality mechanic or go to Honda? My local Honda dealer is pants so i have my reservations, but i do not want to drive the car up to Stoke just incase the chain breaks and i have to travel around on Santa's Sleigh this year...!!!

As i said anyone with any knowledge whatsoever on the issue if you could feedback that would be great...
