HI folks, I have a 2005 estate and I have a strange problem.
It looks like it doesn't like the cold this is what happens...
Go to the car first thing, cold but no snow or very little frost on tailgate, unlock car and open tailgate with the remote control no problems, close again with remote or pressing the button and it closes, again with no problem. But when you try and open it again there is nothing, no beeps, flashes or anything, might as well not press the button and if you turn on the ignition the tail light warning lamp will not go out.
If I remove the battery for 1 min then reconnect, it will start working again. It has now done this about 6 times and only first thing in the morning and when it is cold outside.Today I tried opening and shutting the tailgate manually and again all looked ok until I tried to open with the remote afterwards and again it had still tripped.So anyone got any idea's? its got me beat.
