Tailgate failure

The tailgate system failed yesterday leaving the boot unlocked, but I have now managed to lock it manually. It now appears to be permanently locked!

However, there doesn't seem to be any power reaching the tailgate as when I press the button to lower the lid nothing happens - no bleeping or anything. Looking in the manual I can't see a separate fuse for the tailgate - is that right?

Any suggestions welcome!

Try manually opening it from inside.leave it open and disconnect the battery for a few minutes. I've only had a problem with my tailgate once and that method worked and reset it.

That appears to have done the trick - thanks very much!

Now just need to sort the satnav out as it has rebooted and doesn't like the disk I have.

You can force it to download by putting the old disc in holding the back and zoom buttons in and accessing a hidden menu.Glad your tailgate is sorted.
