I am currently looking to get some coilovers for my 2.4 type S.

I have found a brand new set of Tein street advance for just over £500 and wondered how they compare to the usual suspects like BC's. I notice all the other options have a seperate height adjuster to spring seat so the height doesn't effect the dampening or something along those lines. As far as I can see this is not mentioned on the Teins. Is that correct?

Any ***istance, reviews or advice appreciated.

wow that's a good price, id watch out for import tax on that if they are coming from abroad though. From looking at the Tein website, it looks like they have adjustable dampers, but not independent adjustable height like you say. I had tein basis on my old civic before, I had to fully lower the adjuster ring to get the car nice and low but this meant the spring/damper resistance was different to that when the car ride was raised. If you plan on dropping your car low then these may not be your best option as i ***ume they do not go as low as dual perch coilovers, but do ride well from what i have read. You might want to check out pictures of other accords which have the same coilies installed to see what kinda drop they offer and how low you want to go.

Im running on teins , they dont go very low but ride quality is pretty soft and not harsh . Overall for daily town driving is great .
