The Accord Coupe ?

Hello

Does anyone have much information or opinion of the Coupe version around 2000 model year?

They are nicely styled in my opinion. Leather interiors. I know they were built in the USA and imported.

Are they as reliable as the Swindon built cousins?

Most are automatics; is the auto box reliable?

Is the engine the same VTEC unit as installed in the 6th gen?

Has anyone here owned one?

There are a few owners on here who have them.

They are all 2.7V6 autos I think.

Nice cars, but as with all big engined ones, higher bills, fuel, road tax also.

The cambelt change is pricey also, and I think they get a bit noisy with age from the tappets.

No there is a 4 cylinder 2 litre version also

The coupes are usually 6 pot jobs, but a few 4s are available.

My only issue would be the auto box. So many reported failures on both sides of the pond.
