Whenever the clutch pedal is not pressed there is thick ticking sound that can be heard outside the car. If I tap slightly on the clutch it goes away.
Anybody know what that is?

Sounds like a dry clutch release bearing.
If you change it it's worth changing the hole clutch.
These will go on for a long time though untouched

The clutch is perfectly fine though, pulls well in all gears.

TBH labour wise it's the same amount of time to change the bearing as the clutch

I have a tick on mine but mine sounds like its coming from the alternator but had it tested and its fine

My alternator made A ticking noise as well but passed voltage tests. Take your aux belt off and start the car,no noise means something on thats powered by the aux belt is o. Its way out.
