Top upper suspension wishbone front arm split

Hi all my front upper arm wishbone arm as split and making one hell of a squeaking noise i always normally replace with genuine Honda parts but have seen these
at Dewsbury which i could have fitted tomorrowMy link

Should i stick to genuine or would it make much difference if i have both sides replaced with the above and as anyone had dealings with the above firm

No idea about the Upper Wishbone part, like you I'd prefer genuine parts, but I was looking at replacing my rear ARB links and they were nearly €60 / side from Honda. These guys quoted €33 for both.

To be fair, they answered by questions very quickly and shipped the part same day. I am still waiting for it to arrive, so I'll advise on the quality when it does.

I think you can replace the bushes, but you will need someone with a press

Dont no any1 with press was thinking at that price would be better replacing all the arm with mechanic who as starting doing all work for me Honda mechanic,what id save with paying honda to do and taxi been of the road and also not sure about using non Honda parts,but thought might get away with the arm

Had new upper arm put on today car feels tons better but still got squeaking noise when turning and braking it sounds like a old mattress or like a train stopping at a station so back to the drawing board any ideas any1

So replacing the upper arms did not help? Have you looked at your brakes could be them squeeking?

Had arm done in Dewsbury 30mins drive home car felt brill as there was a lot of movement in the arm that was replaced, Went out to work thats when noticed noise again could be brakes noticed always seemed worse when braking. Had new pads put on about 3wks ago.Will check brakes and lower arm tomorrow

Can you describe the squeak, is it only noticeable when the car is moving?

I'd a squeak from the rear of the car turned out to be the ARB links, driving me nuts. For a sample of the noise check out Eric the Car Guy making the noise Creaking for ARB Stabiliser Links just to 4:10 in the video to see him making the noise.... does this sound familiar?
