Tourer Boot

I've not had a proper look at the set-up of the boot yet, but since there are no obvious lifters visable I am ***uming they are located under the roof lining.

Does anyone have an DIY boot removal guide handy, or point me in the right direction?

Im pretty certain its the lifters now. Boot opens underpower, reaches its zenith, and then drops down a few cm, then powers open agian, then cant hold it so it drops it down again.

All sorted.

Managed to get an hour free today in daylight to do it.
Felt like a div balancing the boot on my head. Prized off the little bit of trim to get a better look, and discovered that the problem was indeed the boot lifters......one of them simply popped off!
So 30 secs later, re-attached and all working as it should. I got £150 off the price for something that took 2 mins and no cash to fix. Bonus!
