Hi all

I've just been quoted £250, fully fitted, for a set of front disks and pads. Is this excessive?

Cheers

It's not ridiculous I don't think, maybe a bit overpriced but I ***ume that's a Honda dealer? I think parts are around £150.

Local Honda dealer, using honda parts. I've never had them changed before so i'm just checking.

That price is the Honda Happiness fixed price.

I do disagree iv had EBC in the past and don't rate them to OEM.
But that's my opinion

I had this done 2 weeks ago, quoted £250 by local Honda dealer, same by a small Honda specialist using OEM or £180 using non-OEM. Got another garage to price match the £180 and do a wheel balance for free. Sadly, cash is king at the moment. Not sure what brand the set are but so far so good although still bedding in after 2 weeks.

It's more than I'd want to pay. It's a fairly easy task that could be done by any garage (or avarage DIYer) using widely available parts... why do you want to have it done at a dealer?

EDIT - Welcome to the club, btw!
