Traffic/Speed Cameras for Sat Nav

Hi,

(did a search but nothing came up)

Unlikely but I have to ask.....

Can the in-built Sat Nav have speed cams added in anyway? Is there a hidden setting etc?

A software engineer might find a way, but then he'd probably be working for the manufacturer.

Our units are pretty basic outside Of TMC.

Agree with Dan - it's possible but requires some software changes with some specific know-how. I've seen this kind of thing tackled on other forums, and it usually involves decompiling the source code on the DVD, making some changes, adding the POI (point of interest) data and then recompiling and burning a new DVD. Even after this, to put updates in you've got to burn a new DVD everytime.
