Does anyone know if the accord type s 2.2 idtec turbo is water cooled or not as I am considering fitting a hks turbo timer.

Sorry i'm late on this, I've been looking at fitting a boost controller too.
One thing you'll have to remember is that being a diesel you'll need to make sure that the boost solenoid can handle the extra pressure.
I've been looking at The Gizzmo IBC Version 4, that can go up to 3.5 bar. I wouldn't expect it needs to be more than 3 but you never know! It also works with internal wastegates which this turbo has.
