Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any experiences with turbo cartidges which you can buy on ebay for ~160 quid? Is it better to have the job done by a turbo workshop? I immagine that they do the same as I would do: change the core and keep the body if it isn't damaged.
I don't even know if I have a problem. Turbocharger on my 2005 CTDi Tourer ex is quite loud in cold mornings. When the weather is warmer than ~15°C you almost can't hear it at all. You also can't hear it when the angine gets warm. I've been driving this car for three years now and it's not getting worse over time.
Oil changes are regular, at 7000km, 0w30.
