Afternoon all,

I am looking for a bit of advice on an aspect of cars where my knowledge is no longer what it should to be.

In my ATR, my head unit had USB and Bluetooth connectivity. The standard unit in 2005 Type S does not and I need a USB port back in my life.

Is this sufficient and is it compatible? Are there any market leaders or cheaper options that provide the same quality?

Any advice would be appreciated,

Many thanks, Paul.

I originally ordered a connects2 for my 2004 Tourer Executive w/ the 6 disc CD changer and was very disappointed with it. First of all it just looked and felt cheap. Then it did not work with my model (even though connects2 advertises that it does.)

I just ordered my Xcarlink today and it should be here tomorrow. I'll keep you posted on it.

Make sure you plug your Xcarlink in to the headunit nice and tight. Don`t know if they have improved them but I found when I bought mine about 5 years ago the connector plug was a loose fit and even now causes the xcarlink to not work on occasion

Is this the one to avoid then - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-Accord-Civic-Jazz-S2000-USB-adapter-CTAHOUSB001-Alpine-OEM-radio-aux-SD-/221002090492?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item3374c047fc#ht_1680wt_889

Let me know how you get on with the other ;)

That's not the one I ordered but I'd just avoid connects2 in general. Oh and if you're gonna order soon - Xcarlink's actually on back order for Honda. Just got an email about that today.
