Vehicle Shakes Above 60 KMPH Speed

The problem has been found! :)

Thanks. Everyone. The information on this site was quite helpful.

The tyres were the cause of the shaking problem. The previous owner had installed some cheap brand of tubeless tyres in the front. The shaking didn't occur when tyres from the other vehicle were installed.

The garage mechanic said that it's possible that the previous owner added sealant liquid inside the tubeless tyres causing it to make the vehicle unstable as it moved within the tyre at high speed. I would soon be replacing it with the original stock brand.

Just re read your first post, now you know where not to go if you encounter any problems in the future.

Glad it's sorted!

Why not name and shame the place that said they'd balanced your wheels... another member might get to avoid them. Far too many places are currently doing a terrible job of wheel balancing.

good job, but a sham that this was not diagnosed earlier, wobbly tires should be easy to diagnose in a matter of minutes, changing boot joints off another car ffs.

cv joints are the cause of a lot of vibrations but checking balancing/tyres is always something that should be done first.

but yeh, that garage a sham.

yeah, as Jon said get the car fitted with proper tyres and PROPER alignment, the amount of people who don't do this is crazy, the accord is very fussy on these matters.
