My Accord is driving me crazy.
158,000 on the clock, it's a 2.0.
When accelerating under load, it makes an instrusively loud hissing/sucking noise that gets louder the more you press the accelerator. Cannot be heard when stationary at idle, which makes it most frustrating.
From the drivers seat, it sounds like its coming from directly behind the throttle body. Ive checked all the pipes that i can physically reach in that area and see no splits/loose pipe etc.
Anyone had this before? I even swapped the standard airbox pipes for an aftermarket intake and the noise was still there.
Anyone had this before? Driving me potty as literally everything else on the car is in perfect working order.
