Well, following the dreaded pressure sensor failure I made some enquiries.
Following the terrible reputation of BBA reman (despite being helpful on the phone) I decided to try ECUtesting for a repair.
I called them Tuesday as they quote 3-5 working days for a return on your repaired item, as I wanted to know if I stood a chance of receiving it before Xmas if I sent it on a before 10am to them.
No guarantee, as 3-5 doesn't actually mean 3-5.
Fair enough says I 'do you have the pressure block in stock, I'll take one of you can deliver it by Friday, and I'll rebuild the unit myself'
- No problem, we have two, I'll send you one out, it'll definitely be there for the weekend.
-Great ( I provide card details etc.)
Just had a phone call from them. (The day my friendly seasonal courier should've been hurling said item over my fence, or leaving it in a safe place, such as the middle of my drive, on the roof, or taped to next door's cat)
- They've only started dealing with it now, the unit they had was faulty, and now it's too late to order one from their supplier as they've sat on their butts for four days, when they should've been putting it in the post Tuesday.
I'm a little miffed to say the least.
