Want to upgrade to 17" wheels... and connect my iphone to the car

hi all,

Very soon I will be shopping for 4 tyres and really been thinking of getting 17" alloys... I was looking at some genuine honda ones off ebay but not much out there... Do you guys recommend a switch from 16 to 17 and whats the real difference? Also wondering if you can recommend a site I can buy decent alloys for.

Also want to connect my iphone to the car.. want to do it myself to save some cash if i can,

ipod connection has been covered here many times bud.

As has alloy questions; going up a size will improve looks, possibly handling but at a slight detriment to comfort, but not enough to worry about.

why not consider the 18" honda alloys as well. I went from 16s to 18s and although you can feel a slight degradation in ride comfort when it comes to the likes of raised tarmac at roadworks etc, i'd say that the car has a more planted and (CJ is gonna hate me for this) a more germanic feel if that makes sense, and the improvement in looks and roadholding is definitely worth it.

Bargains to be had out there, i got 5 Altimos (freshly refurbed) with 5 good tyres for £400 on ebay, be patient and you will get what you're looking for.
