Water under car

Hey all,

Im not especially worried about this but I noticed a small amount of water dripping from under my car today while I was on my knees fitting some new mats. Jacked the car up and found it to be coming from a rubber hose that sticks out of the bodywork on the drivers side about a foot back from where the drive shaft enters the box. I imagine its some sort of run off do da, but Im not sure what for....

Any ideas?

As the guys said Matt when i 1st had my 7th gen about 6 years ago this was a concern for me as well
