Hi Forum, I have acquired a 1999 (T) plate Honda Accord 1.8i ES (Auto) saloon for my son who has recently passed his test. We hope to DIY a lot of the basics ourselves and, thanks to the forum, we have already ordered a whole bunch of stuff from COX Motor Parts.

As it happens, the car has failed MOT on emissions so will be posting on the right sub-forum seeking some guidance. Once I figure out how to post pictures will upload some then.

Thank you - sad to see how much havoc scrappage has wrecked on cars at this end of the pricing spectrum. This is exactly the type of car a new driver needs…but decent cars like this are very (very) rare and many of those those out there are **** piles.
