Honda Accord Type S
Hi again dear members

We have owned our Accord 2.4 Type S 2003 for almost 4 years, its been a very reliable car. We bought it of a banker in Cardiff who maintainted it well. The car has all the original Honda handbooks/brochures & 2 key fobs. Also has FHSH apart from 2/3 stamps being local carried out by us. Its been our daily driver & is in very good condition apart from a few marks & wheel kerbings.

No way is my thread aimed at selling, just would like to know what its worth. It has 95k and has no modifications

We are looking to upgrade to a 530d M Sport

£3000 tops i would say
 
Thats ok. We paid almost 8k for it, so I guess after 4 years of useage its a fair bit back. Where would it be worth advertising the car?
 
With a knackered clutch alot less lool ....joking.

It's alot of car for the money the type S these days.
 
Never found ebay to be good for selling cars at a decent price personally.

he's right there, try it on ebay but make sure you put a reserve on it, and try to make sure it won't be recognisable if you then try it on autotrader or gumtree etc etc
ebay £1500 for a 2003
 
Its not the older shape. So dont think £1500. Anything over 2k & I would part with it. I will try get some pics up

honestly, you'll struggle to get over £1500 on ebay, I've been watching 04/05 Accord petrols on ebay for 3years now, because I was thinking of selling mine 3 years ago and changed my mind but left the search in ebay out of curiosity

Swervin Mervin was selling his twice on ebay with offers, first time im September when he was offered £3000 but he changed his mind, then in Novemebr and he wasn't offered as much. But his was a 100% immaculate 72k 04-plate Tourer
 
I was looking on completed listings and saw a 04 exc model with 140k sell for 2.6k. Thats expensive!
 
I've sold a few cars on Ebay, and found it better than Autotrader.
You need to describe it very accurately, good and bad bits. take some good fotos of it. Photo the bad bits (eg ding on drivers door, scuff on bumper), and photos of the service history, manuals, keys etc etc. Then when they come to buy they cant knock you down by saying "Oooh, theres a ding on the drivers door" - "Yes mate - I described it on the advert". Honesty is the key on Ebay.

Put it on Ebay, at what you consider to be a fair price, there are some 2.4's on Ebay similar to yours for between £3k-£3.7k. So stick it on at mayber £3500 with the 'Make me an offer' option, and see how it goes - no sale, no charge (well a little Insertion fee charge)

that has to be the best way to sell a car (or a caravan, etc) on ebay, because you can keep re-advertising and no-one knows what anyone else has been bidding, so you might get someone make an offer close to £3000 one time
