Morning all,
Im just about to replace my side lights. I've had some 501 leds in for a while now but there slightly different in colour and its really annoying me :)
Ive deceided to go for these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270829261980?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
I remember last time the clips in the wheel arch where broken so I dont think they will last another in/out job and was wondering if these are the replacements that i need.

it says there for 10mm. Is that right?

Also im doing my own service for the first time. Pollen/Air/Oil/Plugs and maybe fuel.
I was wondering if its reccomended to get an oil filter adapter tool?

Hope you guys can help.

Cheers Jim

Not sure what size, best to take one out and measure.

for the tool I would get a chain so you can use it on others later on, depending on access as I have the diesel and its on top. I think yours maybe at the bottom behind the drivers wheel, but a chain wrench should still be ok, someone should confirm.

Well I found this one.

Mines a 2.4 petrol so mine might be in a different place? Hopefully someone with a petrol might of used one of these.

It depends which clip you want to replace there are a couple of different types even though they are very similar.
Item 22 is the part they're quoting as replacement clips in the ebay add. But I can't confirm the measurements though.

Personally i would get the oil filter cup tool. Then you have the ability to attach a socket and wrench on it if it's tight, very easy to use. Plus it will grip the filter better and damage it less when removing and refitting.

If you do find you only end up using it a few times and don't need it again i'm sure someone on here would buy it off you.

Thanks for the diagram doc.
I pulled up a diagram for my car
http://www.hondaoriginalparts.com/honda_car_parts_selection_pfk.php?block_01=17SED01&block_02=B__5000&block_03=529
Looking at that diagram I think I need item 21. Just a shame its £7.50 Delivery!! Ill see if i can get them on ebay somewhere. It looks like 20 is for the bumper and im pretty sure I dont remove that one when trying to access my sidelights.
Thanks for the advice about the oil filter as well. Not sure what to do now :)

Jim

Hi pekay
I tried going through the top mate and i couldnt do it :) found is so much easier to put full lock on and go in from the back.

Plus Ive already broken 3 out of the four :) (they only have 3 prongs left :))
