Hey, Just wondering if i can use a second hand keyfob from ebay or similar and program it to my accord rather than getting one from honda. I only have one and want to get a second. I have read how to program a new one. Is it the same with buying a second hand one? Cheers!

both my fobs have the same circuit board number, and 3 buttons on front of the board but the fob casing is only a 2 button casing. how can i used the 3rd button?

Does it do anything out of the casing? Probably meant to be a boot release. Dunno if your model is supposed to have remote opening though?

both my fobs are faulty, put new batteries in and they still dont work. i need to get new fobs but want to know if its possible to program in the new fob to use the boot release as well
