can anyone help me please, I have started to get a whistling sound from my 2,2 icdti 2004 and it's now done 110000 miles, the whistle comes when i accelerate

engine hot or cold, and at 1500 rpm?

We need more info but sounds like turbo whistle

It started at normal motorway driving and no whistle at tick over but starts as soon as i accelerate

That's what i thought. if it is turbo how much of an exspence is it and is it safeto continue to drive the car?
