the strip that runs up the side of the windscreen is loose, when driving along you can hear it and its pretty annoying (not to mention it wont be weather tight), can i use sealant to seal it andhold it in place? or is there a reason i shouldn't?

Try regel automotive, they are pretty good. Also try lings Honda parts

Probably. I got Autoglass to do mine and they just used sealant.
