Cheers I bought CL9 Type S last week.I have 2 questions.

1.Car come with 17 Potenza summer tyres. Now I put on winter tyres on 16 wheels 205/55/16 yokohama w drive
and I have a LOT noise coming from rear.I dont think rear hubs are issue because on Potenzas it was OK.Can winter tyrers make so much noise an Accord?I never heard so much noise and my previous 2 cars were Civic EP3 and Integra DC2.

2.Gearbox shifter has alot of play I ussualy solve that with Energy Suspension shifter bushings (On last car ITR DC2)
does Accord have them or what I can do to make shifter more compact?
Thanks!

Hi mate, the accord does have poor sound insulation compared to other executive cars, there are a few threads on improving sound insulation, also generally winter tyres are noiser than summer tyres. Have a look at the sound rating for The yokos. Can't help with shifter.

On my Subaru I ran Bridgestone Potenza RE-050A's in summer, and Nokian WR-A3's in winter.

The winters were far quieter, as the Bridgestones are a really loud tyre.
I'd just check the tyre information on the web, they'll give noise ratings.

Brodziu has quickshifters for sale in the for sale area here.
