As ***le flow from both my washer jets is pittiful, it barely reaches the wiper blades on the driverside and squirts only out of 1 on the passengerside at an angle and it doesent even touch the screen

I was obviously thinking its maybe a partial blockage at the jets themselves, however I was thinking the blockage could also be the pump itself

Any info would be great where to start

Thanks in advance

I usually blow the tubes out with an airline periodically. You can check if the nozzles are blocked by removing the tubes from the washer nozzle and getting someone else to try them, if it flows freely its the nozzles if not there could be a blockage further down in the resevoir/pump.

I had a problem with the one way valve which resolved the problem when I replaced it (I actually had to do both eventually about 12mths apart).

First thing I'd try is a pin into the jet nozzle and see if that is blocked. You can also use the pin if sturdy enough to position the jet, they sort of rotate around like a little balljoint.

Here is the Valve I'm talking about, the little spring (and ball) inside were somehow jammed.

Thanks chaps, I will have a proper look tomorrow

Andy, Can you remember how much those balljoint connectors were from Honda incase I need to replace mine, were they special order or did they have them in stock ok?

The balljoint item I was describing is the little nozzle itself to explain the movement, but thats not what I replaced. I just mentioned it as an area to probe with a pin and also to realign the nozzle to the windscreen.

What I replaced was the oneway valve.

Here is the Lings website for my CG8/F12b2 - these are likely the same parts but you can enter your reg for more specific http://www.lingshondaparts.com/honda_car_parts_catalogue_C01.php

Item 10 one way valve (what I replaced) £6.26
Item 4&8 nozzle (what to probe/clean and position using a pin/needle) £13.94

IMO don't use a pin unless you have a metal ball in the nozzle I ******ed my 7th gen spray pattern using one! And if you need the check valves just pop into any auto factor as they will be pennies rather than pounds and all do the same job ;-)
