The guy is an old toyota enthusiast and travels all over the country collecting and restoring old toyotas. Mainly old celicas.

I love the ra28 mustang celica.

My dad had one and i have very fond memories of it.

They couldnt have gone to a better bloke to be honest. Like the wheeler dealers programme, he often sells the cars on ebay

Oh man that's amazing mate, there is a celica in there that my dad use to own back in the day, it was red his but like you nod memories of it.

I thought we only found mg's in the uk. This is great.

Really good thread, well done

This link reminds me of a email that I received which I've pasted below. Please forgive the links to the images as I couldn't paste them directly into the post.

A New York man retired.
He wanted to use his retirement money wisely, so it would last, and decided to buy a home and a few acres in Portugal.

The modest farmhouse had been vacant for 15 years.; the owner and wife both had died, and there were no heirs. The house was sold to pay taxes.
There had been several lookers, but the large barn had steel doors, and they had been welded shut.
Nobody wanted to go to the extra expense to see what was in the barn, and it wasn't complimentary to the property anyway......so, nobody made an offer on the place.

The New York guy bought it at just over half of the property's worth, moved in, and set about to tear in to the barn.......curiosity was killing him.

So, he and his wife bought a generator, and a couple of grinders.......and cut through the welds. See Below!
What was in the barn...............?

ALL ADDED UP VALUED AT $35 MILLION DOLLARS. THIS IS A TRUE STORY. THE MAN AND
HIS WIFE HAD FULL CLAIM TO THE LOT. THEY HAD A GREAT RETIREMENT!

Incredible I'm gonna go looking for a property for sale with a barn that's got it's doors welded shut shouldn't be to hard

Saw an original Mini on the M1 the other day... Bute girly driving it too.

On the rear quarter window is had a sticker:

"British hit, not German Sh*t"

Gave me a good laugh anyway...

Call me a chav but wouldn't it be great to fit a vtec unit to a mini or a motorbike engine with chain drive to the rear wheels?

Both have already been done. I should imagine they're pretty devastating off the line!
