Wrong Bulb Fitting HID's. ******.

So... after spending roughly 2 hours researching which HID kit to buy, I had determined I needed a slim ballast H1 5000k 35w job.

I then hopped over to eBay and keenly made my purchase, excited about my new purchase I checked eBay to see when they are arriving and I've gone and bought the wrong ****** bulb fitment! I've bought "H7" not "H1"

My question is,

A. will they fit in an H1 socket

B. if not can they still be used in any way?

H7 is the wrong fitment and yes you need H1
I'm not sure if they can be adapted in anyway but can't you email the seller to change your order.

Jon just a thought im sure H7 are the size of your fog lamps so a mod on these might be possible.
Members will confirm the size.

Sorry i was wrong the fogs are H11.I think H7 are for the 6th gen

Unfortunately for me they have already been dispatched! I will have to have look when they arrive to see if they can be adapted! Thanks anyway though Brett!

cant be adapted at all, you will suffer water leaks at the least.

Just send them back and stop fanning around with em. Any decent ebayer will do a return

Yeah just return them you prob have to pay the postage but won't be a prob returning. Always send the seller a message with your requirements with things like this. On another note I would go for 55w if they stock them. Massive improvement

I've had the same problem. Although I didn't realise until 8 months later when I went to fit them.
You need to put in your paypal message the bulb size and colour or they will send H7 as standard.
I sent a message through ebay when I bought them but didn't check on delivery!
Gutted!
